It helps to include your device (e.g. iPhone 15, iOS 18), the app version from Profile, and what you expected to happen.

Common questions

I finished the setup questions but never made an account. Where is my plan?

On your phone, and only on your phone. The setup questions run before sign-up, and until you create an account your answers never leave the device. That also means they are not recoverable if you delete the app first — create an account to save your plan and carry it to a new phone.

How do I get my data?

Email us from the address on your account and we will send everything we hold about you in a portable format. There is no charge, and you do not have to say why.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Delete account. It asks twice, because it is permanent — it removes your plan, every logged workout, your personal records and your measurements. If you would rather we did it for you, email [email protected].

I can’t sign in

Sign-in codes can take a minute and sometimes land in spam. If you first signed up with Apple or Google, use that same button rather than the email option — they create separate accounts. Apple’s Hide My Email relay addresses work fine; just sign in with Apple again.

Is RecompX free?

Yes. There is no subscription and no card required.

Is the AI coach medical advice?

No. It is general training and nutrition information, not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or a registered dietitian. If you have an injury or a medical condition, talk to a professional first.

Reporting a bug or asking for a feature

Both go to the same address. Bug reports with a screenshot and the steps you took are the most useful thing you can send us.
